Twitter gives and takes. A few days ago, AOC put out a tweet shared by over 20,000 where she gives up the Democrats plan:
“It is vital that governors maintain restrictions on businesses until after the elections in November because economic recovery will help Trump be re-elected. A few business closures or job losses is a small price to pay to be free from his presidency.”
Do voters actually want to put this clown patrol, “led” by Joe Biden, in charge?
Texas GOP State Convention “COVID Chaos”, And A New Chairman Is Elected
Given the yo-yo last week starting with Mayor Sylvester Turner's last minute cancellation of the in-person Texas Republican State Convention (which probably makes the City of Houston liable for damages) and that was followed by at least four court hearings ending with the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals reversing the decision by U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes to allow an in-person convention. So the Texas GOP was on until it wasn't.
Needless to say, this process created a chaotic condition, which is still not completed as of Tuesday, July 20. In fact, part two of the Convention is to be completed in the next week.
The big news is that conservative, former Congressman and African-American, Allen West was elected State Chairman. Can he motivate conservatives of all races to turn out and vote for the GOP in November? One thing is clear, the Texas Republicans, while the major media ignores it, is that the party looks more like Texas. That is a good development.
Portland: 50 Nights Of Riots And Counting
More and more the difference on law and order between Republicans and Democrats is becoming apparent. Cooperating with the Democrats and giving aid and comfort to the rioters are the major media led by the New York Times. Somehow, because President Trump has ordered the protection of federal buildings there, it's the wrong thing to do.
So let's cut to the chase and ask yourself three questions. Do protesters exercising their First Amendment rights try to burn down police stations or the federal courthouse? Is rioting and destruction of property peaceful protests? Do they throw objects including rocks at the police for 50 nights and counting? Of course, their answer is no.
The anarchists there and around the country's goal is the ending of law and order. The incompetent Democrats who run Portland are a joke. And Nancy Pelosi, Democratic leader, actually accused the Trump administration of kidnapping protesters, who, by the way, were simply arrested for committing crimes. Nor does she mention the rioters trespassing on federal property during Portland's 50-plus nights of riots.
There is a real choice in November. The Democrats would be a disaster for our future.
The Biden/AOC/Sanders Plan For America In January 2021
As we previously pointed out, this is a choice election. While President Trump is not perfect and the Joe Biden-led Democrats are not your parent's Democratic Party, the forthcoming platform and their radical left agenda will transform America in a way that will leave us on the road to what author Cal Thomas called in his recent book “America's Expiration Date.”
Let's take a look at the agenda they will roll with next January. All from the Biden, Sanders Task Force and Democratic think tanks:
- Pack the Supreme Court via expansion so they can pad the liberal plurality. This threat alone has impacted Chief Justice Roberts in some of his recent decisions.
- Tax Increases. They always want to increase taxes “on the rich,” “who don't pay their fair share.” Of course if you have paid attention, they always say that, yet somehow some way the middle class gets hit with higher taxes.
- Gun Control. Every time there are high profile shootings, the anti-gun Democrats call for universal background checks, ban assault weapons (or guns that look like it), ban high capacity magazines, make gun companies liable for crimes committed with their products, and finally 'Beto' O'Rourke's solution, gun confiscation (remember he is an advisor to Biden).
- Amnesty. Not Immigration Reform, but a plan to legalize all the illegals in the country and without enforcement. We just reset the clock as illegals flow into the U.S.
- Full Restoration of Taxpayer Funded Abortions.
- DC Statehood. It requires a Constitutional Amendment, but if you are packing the court with leftists, why not go for it? Besides, the reason DC was not a state going back to the Constitution, this is just an attempt to pack the Senate with two more liberal Democrats representing 705,749 people. Instead, let the citizens vote for the U.S. Senate and House in Maryland. A left-wing packed Supreme Court could bless this scam.
- Green New Deal. You know the one, kill the oil and gas industry and spend $50-93 trillion over the next decade to zero out greenhouse gases. AOC's favorite.
- Medicare for All. Sanders' idea is a national single-payer Medicare system with vastly expanded benefits. No private plans allowed to compete and no cost sharing. Estimates of the cost of this idea per the Mercatus Center at George Mason University is conservatively the federal government's commitment for healthcare and will go up by $32.8 trillion over its first ten years (2022-2031).
This is just a sample of the radical agenda coming if we give the Democrats the keys to Washington.
The Failure Of Our Education System And Generation Of Free Thinkers By Brian Ettinger, Contributing Editor
The U.S. education system started failing our students as a direct result of the Vietnam Anti-War Movement. These Anti-War/Anti-Government radical leaders disrupted the 1968 Democratic Convention. After this time these leaders went into our education system first, on the college level teaching our young students their hate of the United States, our government's political system and our checkered history. They created a generation of same thinking "socialists" who are now teachers, college professors and education administrators.
Their view on history is one sided and want to change our almost 250 years of history to suit their way of thinking. The United States is a diverse, multi-cultural country that has overcome periods of violence, bad moral character, and bad laws like segregation in education or allowed discrimination against its diverse population based on race, religion, sex, gender or age. It took civil rights legislation and court decisions to correct these societal morals which have helped our society grow and learn from these situations.
The founding leaders instituted a constitutional republic with a system of rules by laws. We have had anti-government groups in the past which our political system designed and protected the right of free speech including peaceful protest. But, today the anti-government protest has encouraged and promoted violence and the destruction of property. We allow this to occur by promoting an education system that reflects the more violent you are the more attention you get. With social media and use of cell phones everything is recorded. They loot businesses, riot and to see them tear down statutes without knowing the individual(s) and their contribution to our history, good or bad, shows a lack of intelligence and fair thinking individuals. If you do not like someone based on their beliefs, the color of their skin, just shoot them down. The mob mentality rules are to tear down statutes, including past Presidents or other leaders which history shows governed in different times in history including a holocaust monument which shows that anti Semitism still exists and is accepted.
The federal government needs to stop funding these universities or colleges that do not teach both sides of an issue or teach our known history not just their own view of history. Our country grew by its mistakes and became a better nation. The administrators now are all liberal and this needs to change. We need diversity in our public education systems and the ability to teach our students all sides of an issue and let them challenge all views and make up their own minds. Some of these major universities and colleges have no conservative professors, teachers or administrators. Until this changes they should not receive any more federal funding or any student federal assistance.
Next, we need to review all textbooks to be neutral in presenting history or put a disclaimer on these books. Need to get the social media and technology companies to use their platforms to teach both sides of issues as it is in the best interest of our citizens and residents to be informed. The so-called educated media does not see the injustice it is doing by only showing their biased views. If they do not do this, then the federal government needs to impose large fines or take their license away. Free speech and expression are not without limits; it is not an absolute right. Then look at the contents our young people are exposed to such as violent video games, music that encourages violence and glorifies our athletes and entertainers.
Unless we are prepared now to see a revision on our education system our country is heading down a course of becoming like a movie I saw years ago "Escape from New York." All Lives Matter, not one group of individuals. The anti-social behavior with lack of respect for our governmental institutions and our people from diverse backgrounds will suffer from this mob mentality. Our next generation of leaders will be uneducated, lawless and violence will be an accepted way of life. This is the greatest tragedy in a non-educated society. Though education is the way to an enlightened society but not under our current system. Oppressed groups of people have been around for 4000 years and these groups have been slaves and at the lower end of society, but through education have raised their standing. Jews were slaves and they advanced and even though Hitler killed over 6 million Jews they formed their own country and advanced around the world through education. Have more Nobel Prize winners than any other minority. Today it is the Asian students including India and Pakistan descendants that excel through education. The minority Hispanics, even though overcoming a language difference, have made advancements. The black students are still at the bottom and will remain there unless they take self-driven goals to better themselves and not depend on government handouts to carry them. Through education and examples of black people who better their lives through education, doctors, lawyers, successful businessmen or hard working people as role models and not rappers or athletes as role models they will make tremendous strides.
These changes are needed now as well as an overhaul of our education system to teach students to survive in this century. Not all students need to go to college or should go but in a system of trade courses to teach a skill. Make it mandatory that one year after high school these students need to do public service to local communities, and they get paid to use for college or trade schools. There are tremendous opportunities for our students if you teach them respect and knowledge.

Is Black Lives Matter Really About Black Lives? By Neland Nobel, Contributing Editor
Unless you have recently become lost in a mushroom farm operating under ground in the old Maginot Line, you likely have heard of an organization called Black Lives Matter.
While rather recent in origin, the organization is exercising outsized power in forming public opinion and intimidating public officials. In fact, it would seem, that politicians and the heads of large corporations and sports teams, can't get in a kneeling position at the feet of Black Lives Matter fast enough.
Black Lives Matter also has mobilized a curious number of enraged young white females, which is somewhat different from other racial organizations.
We should acknowledge that they have at least one legitimate point to make. The killing of George Floyd, while under police custody seems on the surface, to be inexplicable. Why this officer needed to kneel on the neck of a suspect that was cuffed, and not resisting for almost nine minutes, is to us inexcusable.
Yes, we know Mr. Floyd had a long record of violence, drug addiction, and incarceration. And we now know because of the transcript of body cam recordings, that Floyd was acting strangely, had been safely put in the squad car but thrashed so violently he drew blood, and it was Mr. Floyd who asked he be taken out of the car. He was obviously in some sort of respiratory distress before being put on the ground. An ambulance was called, but initially went to the wrong location. But why the officer would kneel so long on his neck, with Floyd obviously in distress, remains a mystery.
Likely we will learn even more at the trial of the police officers. But at this point, it is fair to say the incident is nuanced, but nuance is not something angry mobs care much about. However, the rest of us should care.
While conceding that point, a reasonable person spending minimal time reading the literature of Black Lives Matter should quickly realize their movement is only remotely about saving Black lives. They are absolutely silent about lives lost because of Black on Black crime in major cities. They are also silent about the millions of Black abortions performed by some of their sexual liberationist allies. If they were concerned about Black lives, this would not be the case.
But they seem to stand for much more than fair treatment of Blacks at the hands of police. In the mission statement of the D.C. Chapter of BLM, they state they are based on the "abolition of systems and institutions of white supremacy, capitalism, patriarchy, and colonialism."
The mission statement of the national organization says they were in part founded based on the case of Trayvon Martin, who you might recall was killed while assaulting a security guard, George Zimmerman. Zimmerman was found innocent of all charges of murder unanimously by a jury. Between the jury and the alternates, 9 of the 12 jurors were African Americans. So, Black Lives Matters says in their mission statement they were founded on a falsehood, not an auspicious way to gain credibility.
Moreover, they commit the fallacy of composition, that a part is not necessarily true of the whole. You cannot generalize from one or two events and say the problem is "systemic racism" on the part of all police, or even the majority of police. Heather Mac Donald goes through all the numbers for you in her book, "The War on Cops." A quick version can be found here.
The three founders were all Black females who have described themselves as, "trained Marxists."
The organizational structure appears decentralized and obscure, likely for the purpose of confusing opponents and obscuring sources of funding. It seems founded largely by Left Wing radicals long active in Occupy Wall Street and other similar anti-capitalist organizations.
So, this is more than a serious conversation about police procedures and attitudes. This is an organization founded by Leftists with long pedigrees. The amount of sexual discontent is also striking.
Funding seems to be coming from the Tides Foundation, Soros and non-Soros sources of funding.
If their origins and structure is not enough to set off alarm bells in you, simply read their mission statement.
You might think the organization is largely about Blacks and their struggles as they perceive them. But there is quite a bit more that is quite unrelated, except for a shared sense of victimhood.
Here is just a tidbit:
"We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered."
"We make our spaces family-friendly and enable parents to fully participate with their children. We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work "double shifts" so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work.
"We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and "villages" that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.
"We foster a queer-affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking..."
If you are remotely familiar with what passes for a college education today, or have been on a campus recently with all the insanity of the gender studies programs your kids are subjected to, this all seems familiar. Only this time you can't get your degree and leave the campus crazies behind. Now they are front and center intimidating the NBA and the NFL, and dominating the political dialogue.
By the way, are these sports organizations and their sponsors in favor of disrupting the "Western-prescribed nuclear family"? Do they advocate children be raised in a commune? Seriously, are these people ready to stand and say they want to destroy the family?
Is NIKE opposed to "double shifts" when they manufacture in Communist China and Viet Nam? Curious minds want to know. It is amazing the faults NIKE can find in America and ignore a Communist country that put Muslims in concentration camps and runs a ruthless one party state dictatorship.
Are most male Black multi-millionaire athletes affirming that Black women are free from sexism and misogyny? It would seem both the NFL and the NBA are "male centered." On that score they are far more guilty than the Minneapolis Police Department.
There are constant references to patriarchy in the BLM mission statement. Ironically, patriarchy died a long time ago in the Black family as some 70% of Black children are born out of wedlock and are brought up in fatherless households. Most observers think this has been quite damaging to Blacks but Black Lives Matters does not care about young Black lives, do they?
Why can't corporations perform even minimal due diligence before opening their wallets and their mouths? Is Amazon fostering a "queer-affirming network"? Think about that next time you purchase something from them.
In short, are these institutions who say they "support" Black Lives Matter willing to foursquare tell us they support BLM's mission statement? Have they read the mission statement? If so, does Pepsi stand ready to destroy the "tight grip of heteronormative thinking"? We know sugary drinks and calorie-laden snacks can make you obese, but can it alter the fact that overwhelmingly humans are attracted to the opposite sex? What is Pepsi thinking?
And as regards the NBA and treatment of women, somehow, we missed this in Wilt Chamberlains autobiography, "A view from Above", where he bragged about his feral sexual behavior. He estimated at 20,000 his ... "relationships" but critics suggest maybe 1000 are more likely. Maybe the NBA should be cancelled for engendering such demeaning male centered behavior.
In short, Black Lives Matter is a curious amalgam of anti-Semitic, anti-capitalist, anti-American, anti-white racism, and sexual liberationist dogma. It is highly doubtful most of these positions are even mainstream among most Blacks.
Is this organization what we should name our streets after? Is this what should influence our sports? Are these people experts at maintaining public order? Do they have any history showing how their sexual practices and family theories will actually operate in the real world? Is a real problem with Black/police interactions being used here for quite a different agenda?
It would certainly seem so.
Martin Luther King in his famous "I have a dream" speech longed for America to live up to its ideals and fully include Blacks in the promise of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
Black Lives Matter wants to tear down American ideals and institutions and exclude Blacks from the shared American experience. In their mission statement, Black Lives Matter rejects the American founding principles and apparently Western Civilization itself. This is quite a contrast.
Why do our civic leaders and corporate boardrooms not know this? Worse yet, if they do know this is the position of Black Lives Matter, why are they supporting them?
